Orange Magazine is looking for 2 young journalists (1 photographer and 1 video-maker), aged between 18 and 30 from the European Union to cover this year’s Nantes Creative Generations Forum.

Costs? Accommodation for three nights, local transportation and food are covered. Travel costs to/from Nantes are not included.

Orange Magazine is a project of European Youth Press (EYP), an organization working for the benefit of young journalists in Europe.
The Nantes Creative Generations Forum, which takes place every year in the autumn, aims to bring together young people to present their innovative and inspirational projects linked to citizenship. As well as showcasing their own projects, participants will have the chance to learn from peers across Europe and to gain better understanding of the European dimension of local projects.
Orange Magazine will cover the event in cooperation with Journal Europa, the local media about Europe. (http://www.journaleuropa.info/) Journal Europa will produce a print magazine in English. The Orange Magazine team will produce short videos and provide social media coverage. The team is going to be coordinated by an Orange Magazine Editor Marine Leduc.
The organizers will provide the Orange Magazine team with free access to the whole event including opportunities to interview both guest speakers and participants.
The following positions are open for applications:
Responsibilities: The photographer will take pictures of the event, which will be published in the print magazine, the websites of Orange Magazine and Journal Europa, Facebook pages and newsletters. The photographer will be expected to edit his own pictures on Photoshop/Aperture in order to prepare them for publishing quality.
Eligibility: You will have to provide your own camera equipment and demonstrate previous experience in photography.

1 VIDEO JOURNALIST APPLICATIONS
Responsibilities: The video team will create short videos, which will include the highlights of the conference and vox pops with the key guests and organizers of the event.
Eligibility: Experience in video editing and camera shooting.
